Hospital Dry Wall
We were contacted by Tselane to assist with hospital dry wall and installation at Jhb Hospital School in Johannesburg as part of their new classrooms.
They already had a clear picture in mind of the layout required and had plans already drawn up.
The new hospital dry wall was installed in an empty shell of the hospital.
The hospital dry wall was fixed to existing wall, pillars and ceiling with standard door frames fitted.
After all hospital dry wall was completed the electrical articulation was completed .
The hospital dry wall was then painted with paint we managed to get as a donation from Martin Vosloo Paints in the colour the client requested.
As can be seen the final product was not only functional but provides a confortable educational area for children with disabilities.
The hospital dry wall structure was created from galvanized floor track which was fixed to the floor with nail in screws, aluminium natural anodized wall channel fitted to the ceilings and walls where required and galvanized studs as per supplier recommendation. Corner sections done with galvanized angle and all secured with drywall screws.
It needs to be noted that accuracy when constructing the structure is of utmost importance. If the structure is poorly constructed the end product will be of poor visual quality. After the drywalling structure was completed 12.5mm Gypsum board cladding was used.
Doors fitted had natural anodized aluminium frames, natural anodized hinges, medium duty hollow core doors and standard lock sets.
Joint was then fiber taped and two coats Rhinoglide applied. Once dry, the joints was sanded to a smooth finish in preparation for painting.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Tselane and her staff and meeting such beautifully pure hearted children.
Well done to the team and a word of thanks to Thinus from Martin Vosloo Paint for their donation!!!
