Drywall Installers
We were approached by Hennie and Frans from ICT Worx to revamp their offices in Woodmead. At the time we did this project we were their preferential drywall installers as we already did another project in Midrand and Randburg.
They also requested us to remove all the old ceiling tiles and replace them with new ceiling tiles.
In preparation of painting we had to prepare the brick walls. As part of our duties as drywall installers we had to do extensive repairs to the drywalling.
1629 square meters of painting was done with Graffitec vinyl artwork in four different colors. All the doors were prepared and painted with enamel.
As can be seen the final product provided by us as drywall installers is not only conducive of a training environment but also aesthetically pleasing and fully caters for their business requirement.
The structure was created by our drywall installers from galvanized floor track which was fixed to the floor with nail in screws, aluminium natural anodized wall channel fitted to the ceilings and walls where required and galvanized studs as per supplier recommendation. Corner sections done with galvanized angle and all secured with drywall screws.
It needs to be noted that accuracy when constructing the structure is of utmost importance. If the structure is poorly constructed the end product will be of poor visual quality. After the drywalling structure was completed 12.5mm Gypsum board cladding was used. This is why only specialist drywall installers should be used…
Windows was fitted using natural anodized aluminium glazing sections, natural anodized beads, bubble gasket and 6.38mm safety glass.
Doors fitted by our specialist drywall installers had natural anodized aluminium frames, natural anodized hinges, medium duty hollow core doors and standard lock sets.
Joint was then fiber taped and two coats Rhinoglide applied by our drywall installers. Once dry, the joints was sanded to a smooth finish in preparation for painting.
