Factory Partitioning

Joggie contacted us to assist with factory partitioning and installation at AME in  Mondustria, Pretoria as part of their new offices.

He already had a clear picture in mind of the layout required and had plans already drawn up. The factory partitioning had to be build on top of a mezzanine which was connected to existing offices. By building offices on top of the mezzanine they managed to double their office space and accommodate their need for extra employees due to growth.

The dry wall was fixed to existing wall, pillars and ceiling with standard door frames fitted.

After all dry wall was completed the electrical articulation was completed .

The dry wall was then painted and Belgotex Berberpoint 920 carpets installed.

As can be seen the final product was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and fully caters for AME’s business requirements. Even though this was surely one of our more challenging projects, it was done with the professionalism of specialist installers always bring to the party…

The structure of the factory partitioning was created from galvanized floor track which was fixed to the floor with nail in screws, aluminium natural anodized wall channel fitted to the ceilings and walls where required and galvanized studs  as per supplier recommendation. Corner sections done with galvanized angle and all secured with drywall screws.

It needs to be noted that accuracy when constructing the structure of the factory partitioning  is of utmost importance. If the structure is poorly constructed the end product will be of poor visual quality. After the drywalling  structure was completed 12.5mm Gypsum board cladding was used.

Windows was fitted using natural anodized aluminium glazing sections, natural anodized beads, bubble gasket and 6.38mm safety glass.

Doors fitted had natural anodized aluminium frames, natural anodized hinges, medium duty hollow core doors and standard lock sets.

Joint was then fiber taped and two coats Rhinoglide applied. Once dry, the joints was sanded to a smooth finish in preparation for painting.

Suspended ceiling with white grid and white vinyl ceiling boards was suspended from a truss system we build into the factory partitioning.

As this was not our first project for Joggie, it was an absolute blessing to do work for them again.

Well done to the team!!!
